EMOLL - Efficiency Measurement of Lifelong Learning, using of Balanced Scorecard Concept

Projenin amacı, organizasyonlardaki eğitim verimliliği ve İK gelişiminin ölçümü için net bir metodolojinin olmayışına tepki göstermektir. Çabamız metodolojiyi hedef organizasyonlarda, örneğin şirketler veya kar amacı gütmeyen (kamu kuruluşları gibi) kuruluşlarda geliştirmek ve uygulamasını doğrulamaktır.

Temel amaçlar şunlardır:
a) Organizasyonlardaki İK gelişimi ve eğitim verimliliği ölçümü için metodoloji geliştirmek. (giriş analizinde var olan yaklaşım ve araçlardan gelen tecrübe ve bilgilere göre)

b) Organizasyonlardaki İK gelişimi ve eğitimi ilgilendiren maliyet kazancı oranının modellenmesi için bilgisayar temelli bir simulasyon modeli geliştirmek. Hedef faydalanıcılar tarafından uygulama aracılığıyla kullanılacaktır.

c) Danışmanları (EMOLL uzmanları) metodolojiyle tanıştırmak, araçları ve uygulama sürecini desteklemek

d) Metodolojiyi faydalanıcı organizasyonlara (6 ülkede 12 adet) uygulamak. Bu hem metodoloji ve uygulama sürecini doğrulamak hem de faydalanıcılardaki sonuçları kullanmak içindir

e) Hedef gruplara sonuçları tanıtmak, yaymak

The Project
 
The project is aimed at using ICT innovative practices such as Citizen Journalism for empowerment of the groups and of communities at social and territorial level, strengthening inter-personal & intercultural links, getting communities talking to each other, promoting personal/collective growth, empowering people to ensure that their voices are heard.
 
An ICT mashing up interactive platform containing Web TV, Blogging, Forum, Social Network will become environment for informal learning, setting up a process in which people belonging to a given community become leaders of social participation & competence exchange (skills bartering) at intergenerational/ intercultural level, the latter resulting in the final product of a multilingual and multicultural Eu Skills e-Portfolio.
 
The project is thus centred in the creation of “Community Reuters and of Community reporting leaders ” who will vehicle the objectives and the activities to the other members involving them in providing local UGC then networking to a wider audience. ISABEL processes will be enacted at different social domains, from disadvantaged communities to university students ones.
 
Experimentation will concern 4 LLP domains and targeted at the specific needs of the concerned communities. E-democracy might be seen as one of the EU common themes to be managed by the local “editorial groups and community reporters”. But there are not links on the themes they will developed since each community has own prioritizing issues.
 
For instance unemployed adults might be keen on reporting on skills and job and dialogue with entrepreneurs. Nevertheless inter-group networking will be extensively promoted at project and EU level. The identified target groups:
Scholastic Community : pupils and teachers
Professional community (social workers, educators and health workers
Immigrants adults and intergenerational community within neighborhood contexts
University Students Comm

ISABEL overall objective is to create both a virtual & physical environment where people from different ages, background, health condition find the condition learn reciprocally from one another & reduce their vulnerability.
 
Citizen journalism is the concept of members of the public "playing an active role in the process of collecting, reporting, analyzing and disseminating news and information," according to the seminal 2003 report We Media: How Audiences are Shaping the Future of News and Information. (source: wiki). ISABEL wants to set up “Community Reuters” through creations of “community editorial boards” and “community reporters”, making of these processes a shared tool for multiple purposes:
 
 
Breaking isolation and marginalization (of elderly, of mentally unhealthy people, of marginal groups) allowing individuals to enhance their social networking and their capability of setting up effective intersubjective relations.
Promoting individual/ group empowerment, socially-oriented informal acquisition processes enhancing potential learning possibilities encouraging self-learning, informal peer learning & competences and e-skills.
Promoting competence exchange processes (skills bartering) promotin, at local, national and project level as well as virtyally and physically intergroup, intercultural, intercommunity and intergenerational dialogue (ie. a black woman is keen on going in Facebook and a young white woman wants to learn to sew)
Contrast digital divide through task based and cooperative based (constructivist) approach, specifically directed at the most disadvantaged.
 

 

 

SOS.NET - SOcial Skills Trainer - New Qualification for European Teachers

SOS.Net projesi 5 ülkedeki –Türkiye, Romanya, Bulgaristan, Çek Cumhuriyeti, Portekiz- lise düzeyindeki okulların sistematik sosyal beceri eğitim eksikliği sorunu ile ilgilenmektedir.

Öğretmenleri SOSYAL BECERİ EĞİTMENLERİ rolüne büründürmek için üzerinde çalışılan konsorsiyumun motivasyonu her bir ortağın ulusal gözlemlerine, 2 Avrupa Projesinin alandaki deneyimine ve ET 2010’daki EC taslak ilerleme raporuna dayanır.

 

Sonuçlar

Bu proje, öğretim elemanlarına destek vererek gerekli pedagojik ve didaktik materyalleri yaratarak öğrencilerin sosyal becerilerinin sürdürülebilir gelişmesini sağlayacaktır. Öğretmenler ve öğrencilerin sosyal becerilerinin düzeyini ölçmek için kullanıcı dostu bir çevrimiçi teşhis aracı ile eğitim sürecine destek verilecek. Buna ek olarak tüm katılımcı ülkelerden 60 öğretmen sosyal beceri eğitim materyalleri uygulamak için eğitilecektir. Eğitilmiş uzmanlar 1000 öğrencinin eğitimlerini yürütecektir.

Proje’nin web sitesindeki açık öğrenme platformu, Avrupa öğrenme topluluğunun kurularak öğretmenlerin, öğrencilerin yumuşak yeterlilik eğitimleriyle ilgili yöntem ve çalışmalarını birbirleriyle paylaşmalarına katkı sağlayacaktır.

Etki

Kısa Dönem:

Ortak ülkelerdeki okullar ellerindeki kaliteli pedagojik ve didaktik bilgileri kendi ulusal dillerinde öğrencilere sosyal beceri eğitimi vermek için uygulayacaktır.

Uzun Dönem:

Sosyal beceri eğitimi konusunda onaylanmış öğretmen sayısında artış kaydedilecek;

Sosyal beceri sahibi öğrencilerin sayısı artacak ve meslek sahibi - vatandaş olarak toplumla bütünleşmeleri daha kolay sağlanacak.

Ulusal politikayı saptayanlar okullarda sosyal beceri eğitiminin sürdürülmesi için reformları uygulamaya gerek olduğunu anlayacaklardır.

Summary  / Özet

Background:
The SOS.NET project will address the problem of lack of systematic social competence training programmes at secondary education level in 5 European countries - Portugal, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania and Turkey. The consortium's motivation to work on bringing TEACHERS into the role of SOFT SKILLS TRAINERS is based on national observations of each partner; experience from 2 European projects in the field and the EC draft progress report on ET 2010.


Outcomes:
The project will create the necessary pedagogical and didactic materials to support teaching staff in ensuring sustainable development of pupils' soft skills. Teachers and pupils will be supported in the training process by a user-friendly online diagnostic tool for measuring the level of soft competences. In addition 60 teachers from all partner countries will be trained to implement the soft skills training materials. The trained specialists will conduct pilot trainings of 1000 pupils. The project's website - open learning platform will contribute for establishing a European learning community among teachers interested in exchanging good methods and practices in soft competences training of pupils.


Impact:
*Short term: 
->Schools in partner countries will have at their disposal quality pedagogic and didactic know-how in their national language to implement soft skills training of pupils by themselves;
*Long term: 
-> The number of school teachers certified as Soft Skills trainer will rise;
-> The number of pupils with good soft skills will be increased and respectively their chances for better integration in society as professionals and citizens;
-> National policy makers will realize the need to implement reforms to sustain soft skills training at school.

SANCTUARY

​Project description

Not only the financial crisis left behind people “cocooning”. Also, the result of a more and more complicated world leads to a need of a more quiet life, often found at individual sanctuaries, retreats for the inner self.
 
SANCTUARY is an interdisciplinary art project that researches different ways and expressions of retreat into privacy in Europe. Where do people in different European countries find a "save haven"? Is it at home or in their gardens, in a church or in a public park? What is it they wish to escape of? What can we learn about the partner’s culture when we have a look at their SANCTUARIES? And how does this backing out of the demands of modern time affect their general relation to society? 

 
A mixed-national group of artists of different fields of Art will travel to the participating countries. In co-operation with local artists and volunteers, they enter personal and individual SANCTUARIES there. Together with the proprietors they start artistic creations that lead to various outputs such as performances, exhibitions or videos. During the working period, an intensive exchange between the local population and the artists will take place. So the project offers possibilities of participation to the general public. 

 
The feelings of wholeness and safety will be part of the research as well as possible reasons for the “cocooning”. 
All artists included are highly qualified; their creations will meet high artistic standards. The artistic outputs are presented to the public in several performances, exhibition, etc. in every participating country.
Some parts of the pieces of art, created in one location will move all across Europe. Props, ideas and/or persons will “travel” from one place/country to another, leading to an accumulation of art. The parts created in the co-operating countries will stay permanently perceivable throughout the process.

 
The project will be enriched by a congress and a symposium that brings together artists, philosophers and social scientists.

In difficult economic times cocooning seems to be a wide spread reaction. SANCTUARY is an interdisciplinary art project that researches different ways and expressions of this retreat into privacy in Europe. Where do people in different European countries find their "save place"? Is it at home or in their gardens, in the church or at the ancestors’ graves? What is it they wish to escape of? How often do they need this feeling of rest and peace? And how does this backing out of the demands of modern time affect their general relation to “the world”.

A group of 5-6 artists of different fields of Art will travel the participating countries/towns. Together with local artists, students and volunteers, they look for personal and individual SANCTUARIES there. They get in contact with the persons who inhabit these places and start creating artistic works. The owners of the sanctuaries are invited to participate in this artistic creation. This participation can differ from being motif of photographs and paintings to playing an active role in the interdisciplinary performances as actor, dancer or musician. 


During the working period an intensive exchange between the “owners” of the sanctuaries and the artists will take place. The feelings of wholeness and safety will be part of the research as well as the reasons for this social retreat. 


The artistic outputs will be presented to the public in several performances. The spectators are invited to the sanctuaries and will be part of an art work in process: The results of one place will be presented in the country of its origin and will partly travel to the other countries involved in this project. This means that some scenes, pictures, videos, installations or music pieces created in one place will move all over Europe. Thus the parts of the project created elsewhere will be perceivable. 


This research will be accompanied by a symposium that brings together artists, philosophers and social scientists.

FUTURE (TOI) ortaklığı, Hollanda, Avusturya, İrlanda, İngiltere, Almanya, Romanya ve Türkiye'den katılan kuruluşların işbirliğinden oluşmaktadır. Bu ortaklar, bireylerle, kişisel ve mesleki gelişimlerini destekleme, ve şirketlerle kadrolarına uygun adayları bulmalarına yardımcı olma konusunda çalışmaktadır. 

Bu proje, bir Yenilik Transferi projesidir, Avusturya'da geliştirilen bir üründen üretilmiştir. Amacı, genç insanların becerilerini ve ilgi alanlarını belirlemeleri için internet temelli tanıma sistemi sağlamaktır. Bu değerlendirme, gençlerin doğru karar vermelerine ve doğru eğitimi seçmelerine yardımcı olabilecektir. Öte yandan, web sitesi şirketlere stajyerlik arayan gençlerle iletişime geçme olacağı sunmaktadır.

Bu transfer sonucunda, tanıma sistemi 11 ülkede ulaşılabilir olmuştur ve Avrupa'daki hareketliliği desteklemektedir. 

The FUTURE partnership is made up of cooperating organisations from the Netherlands, Austria, Ireland, United Kingdom, Germany, Romania and Turkey. These partners are working with individuals by supporting their personal and vocational development and with companies, supporting them to find the right candidate for their vacancies.

This project is a Transfer of Innovation project from a product which has already been developed in Austria and has the aim of providing an Internet based diagnostic system to assess the abilities and interests of young people. The assessment can help youngsters in making the right career decision and in choosing the right education. On the other hand, the website gives companies the opportunity to get in contact with youngsters, who are looking for an intern position or an apprenticeship.

As a result of this transfer, the diagnostic system is available in 11 countries and supports the worker mobility within Europe.

  • Promoting further exploitation of the results of the three previous Leonardo da Vinci projects on Peer Review;

  • Using and testing the structure and process developed by the Thematic Group on Peer Review of ENQUAVET.

EMPLOY: Design Your Future Employability

The present economic situation and increased competition for jobs makes preparation more relevant than ever. The EMPLOY project is an imperative for students to EMPLOY their energy, skills and creativity positively to gain employment and for careers staff and trainers to EMPLOY innovative tools to help job seekers and young graduates reach their employment objectives! It is essential that VET and other graduates or jobseekers gain necessary personal and professional advantage to enter the job market.

EMPLOY focuses attention on preparing jobseekers and graduates to stand out from the rest by recognising and addressing the personal competences the modern worker needs in a changing work environment; the 21st century workplace or employer demands technical and procedural skills but the decisive factor when choosing an employee are the personal competences he/she brings to the job.

Using findings from existing research and the survey carried out in ITALY, the NETHERLANDS, POLAND, SPAIN, TURKEY and the UK as to the key competences universally required, the EMPLOY partners will create a Methodology based on DESIGN THINKING principles and LIFE Skills, adding creative activities to enable targets to plan, practice and present a confident and practical competence portfolio to future employers in their local area or overseas. A training workshop will be available for all training staff or agents who wish to implement the Methodology.

As a collateral part of the project, research will be carried out on the credit allocation systems in VET in each partner country. Attempts will be made to allocate EQF type credits to competences gained in the future project programme, further promoting the capacity of competing for jobs internationally.

PEER TO PEER TUTORING: TRANSFERRING SUCCESSFUL METHODOLOGY AND LEARNING STRATEGY TO REDUCE DROPS-OUT IN Ivet.

Peer-to-Peer Tutoring is a method of instruction that involves students teaching other students and it's an effective educational strategy for classrooms of diverse learners, including students with disabilities and other problems (cultural, religious, economic) that can be an obstacle to remain at school, because it promotes academic gains as well as social enhancement.The Transfer will be done at geographical level (in Centre and South Italy, Romania and Turkey) among diff. iVET institutes and will be also extended to other target groups:the teachers/trainers.The burn-out syndrome begins to affect everyday life with devastating effects on education. 

The partnership is characterized by the presence of VET schools with a considerable number of students who do not finalise the training programme they started, local Authority and scholastic authorities with competence in VET policies and development of educational programs with a strategic role in transferring the methodology findings in the territory (mainstreaming) and a social cooperative expert in social inclusion’s field and specialized in the planning and management of vocational guidance activities, and a VET organization expert in counseling and learning opportunities for all segments of the society (with a role of supporting implementation and evaluation of the PE experimenations). Main outputs related to the experimentation of groups of peers will be the Guidelines for junior and for senior, a training path on the methodology for staff partners and Action Learning within each iVET institutes for students and teachers, raising awareness events on the phenomenon and tools developed by the partnership. The impact envisaged is on a general improvement of the scholastic climate, reduction of abandon, scholastic integration, social and like skills and a general improvement of the quality of VET systems involved.

The proposal is defined necessary on the basis of a desk research activities emerging from Italian and European official reports and statistics (Istat, OCSE, Eurostat) and benchmark analysis from pedagogic literature on the state of art in EU countries of the phenomenon of the early school leaving (ESL) and its effects at individual level. Much of what goes on in society leaks into the VET system, impacting students and their learning experience as well as teaching and training practices. VET systems should recognize what types of social issues are of primary concern and educate students and parents about the ways to solve them.

 

The core training process of Vocational and Educational European systems needs to be supported by additional and integrative tools in order to create more opportunities for young people in educ. and the labour market and promote active citizenship, social inclusion & solidarity. The project aims at transferring to other European countries the performing and successful peer to peer tutoring methodology experimented by the secondary VET school Casagrande/Cesi.
